Peaceful Journey Mortuary Transportation Service was inspired and created by my father, Lester Butcher. Lester was asked by Mr. Fouche’s to start a business conducting funeral escorts and first-call services some thirty-two years ago. I began working for my father as a teenager and understood the impact and great responsibility we had to help families in their time of grieving.
After spending several years as a police officer and operating a successful funeral escort company. I always felt drawn to help families as they grieve more directly. I was told by someone in the funeral industry how they noticed first-call companies were not professional, and they seemed as if they were not compassionate towards the families that they served.
I knew this was my calling, I could provide a professional, empathetic, and caring approach to the industry. I conducted research and listen to some of the most-respected Funeral Directors on how I could make my company different. I created what is now Peaceful Journey Mortuary Services.
Our motto is, " Allow us to provide a Peaceful Journey to your families".
